Why did you design the bag you did? Why did you select the style? Leather?
I love book bags! I have many different kinds that match my outfits and I was very excited to be able to create my own book bag. The Moto Backpack is so my style and the fact I am always on the go, it is perfect to carry everything I need. My favorite part of my bag is the Printed Totally Rad leather I choose because it is colorful and it is uniquely me. Also, the best part is the lining in the inside.... It's Black Spotted!!!
What does your bag say about you??
My bag is a one of a kind creation that is just like me. It is colorful and bright. It reflects positivity. I choose the Moto Backpack because I can fit all my essentials in it and be prepared for what the day brings. My bag is unique just like me and it turns heads like me too. Also, my bag says that I am prepared to bring out my speaker in a short notice and bust a dance move or two.
Have you always been you or did you grow into yourself?
I have always been me! I feel like ever since I was a little girl I was taught to love myself no matter what people think of me and always be the unique person I am. That is something I carry with me always. I always walk with confidence because I am unapologetically true to myself and that's the best way I can be.
When was the last time you rebelled?
I feel like I rebel every week. I show others that my body doesn't define me and I am able to do everything I set my mind too! I promote body positivity, so through dance I break the stereotypes that plus size people have. Just because I am a big girl doesn't mean that I can't go in a split or I can't learn difficult choreography or that I am lazy or can't dress nice. I will do those things and I do those things, I show people I am capable so never under estimate plus size people. We are here and we are capable to show the world that we can!
What are some things you do to celebrate you?
My favorite thing to do to celebrate myself is put together a cute outfit, grab my camera stand, grab my speaker, and find a unique place to film a dance video. Dancing is everything to me and it is one of my passions. I love to dance all kinds of music but my fav is Hip-Hop. When I dance I feel a sense of freedom and I am able to express myself to the fullest. I feel so alive and through dance I am able to show myself and others that I can do anything!
How does Laudi Vidni help you tell your story as a unique, one-of-a-kind person?
Laudi Vidni helps me tell my story because they stand for all people. It doesn't matter what body type you are, what matters is you are a unique individual and that you are one of a kind. I am able to tell my story as a plus size dancer and say that I am proud to be who I am. Size doesn't define me and I can do anything I put my mind too. I am not a stigma! I am beautiful and I am worth it. I am a confident woman and In this I love to spread body positivity and good vibes to all because we need love and we are all capable of doing something great! Always remember that you are in control of your destiny and self love is the best love.
How would you describe your personal style?
I would describe my style to be glitz and swag. I love to wear anything that sparkles and that is very colorful. I am a fashionista who loves to mix patterns and being a plus size girl I am not afraid to wear them. I also like to wear shoes that are colorful and outrageous which ties my outfits together. Let's just say people know when I walk in a room.
